Y-TIME AFTER SCHOOL CARE:
Y-Time Child Care is offering fun, safe, nurturing care for children who are
in Young 5s thru 5th grade this year! We are open after school, all
school year and during snow days and school breaks too!

MAPLE VALLEY LEARN & PLAY AFTER SCHOOL:
Children in grades 2 - 5 will go to the Kellogg Building in Nashville
after school on Mondays and Thursdays. They will have a snack,
play, do homework with tutoring available and play floor hockey.

KARATE:
The Hastings Karate Club, in conjunction with the YMCA of Barry County, will
again offer Self-defense and Karate classes for children ages 5-9 beginning
next Fall (3-sessions throughout the school year).
(For ages 10 and up please see adult classes.) Includes: developing
awareness, power of voice, handling aggressive situations, safety on the
street/at school, good/bad touch.

Disc Golf:
In conjunction with the City of Hastings, the YMCA of Barry County is managing the new Hammond Hill Disc Golf course. Local volunteers have spent hundreds of hours designing and building the first 18 holes and with local grant and sponsorship moneys have installed 18 permanent baskets. Course improvements continue. The course is located at Zhigaawin Park on Hammond Road. No charge - please just leave the land as you found it.
YMCA Hiking Trails:
YMCA patrons are welcome to hike the YMCA Spirit Trails. There are 10 different trails which would take about 45 minutes to complete at a quick pace. Enjoy the trails for leisure walks, power walks, and in during the winter months, cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Bring the family and/or friends. Park in the Y parking lot. Trails begin across the road.
