"Y-Time" CHILD CARE
FOR CHILDREN IN YOUNG 5s - 5th GRADES.

The Y makes strengthening our communities our cause. Through affordable child care, we
create a safe, nurturing environment that engages children, helping them to learn, grow and
develop skill sets that will serve them throughout their lives.
As a Child Care participant you will experience academic support,
building self-esteem, and character development with the staff. There's
much more you should know about us, like:
SUMMER CARE:
- We are open Monday - Friday all summer! (Closed Memorial Day, July 4th & Labor Day.)
- We're available all summer to all children who have completed Young 5s - 5th grades.
- We keep children engaged with enriching academic activities, creative play, games and field trips.
- We encourage healthy eating habits, physical activity, and provide nutritious snacks.
- We offer homework assistance.
- Our staff serve as mentors to make Y-Time fun and safe.
- The YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are
always promoted through all activities.
Hours of Operation
Regular Summer program hours are from 7am - 6pm, Monday through Friday.
Lunch and snacks will be provided. Breakfast available upon request.
Location
Child care is housed at Northeastern Elementary. Hastings Schools provide transportation from Star, Southeastern and Central Elementary (during the school-year only).
Annual Application Fee: $50 non-refundable fee per family
Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.
2013 Summer Rates
Full Time - $125 per week
Part Time - $30 per day (Only if space is available)
After receiving your application we will call you to discuss availability.
*Field Trips - Up to $10 in additional fees may be required

AFTER SCHOOL CARE:
- We’re open after school, all school year (snow days and school breaks too!)
- We're available to all children who are in Young 5s - 5th grades.

Regular School-year program hours are from the close of school to 6 pm. Continuous
care is also available 7 am to 6 pm during school breaks. Spring Break, Winter Break
and Summer require separate registrations.

Full Time - $40 per week
Part Time - $15 per day (Only if space is available)
After receiving your part-time application we will call you to discuss availability.
For each 1/2 day of school add an additional $10 to the fees above or add $15 to the
fees above for each full day off from school (includes snow days).
Financial Assistance is available to thos who qualify.
