Spring 2024 Adult Fitness Classes

WERQ

WERQ is a wildly addictive cardio dance workout built on zero judgment and good vibes only. Our WERQouts are designed to give you the best sweat with repetitive athletic moves and fresh dance steps.

  • Saturdays: 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18
  • Time: 9:00-10:00 AM
  • Who: Adults, 18 years +

YOGA & MEDITATION

During this introductory course, the instructor will guide you through various simple meditation techniques, gentle yoga poses, and stress-reducing breathing techniques each week. Not only will you leave class feeling more relaxed, but you will also have learned techniques you can use any time!

Learn to Make Pasta Class

During the class, participants will learn how to make pasta from scratch, and will be provided with pasta and sauce recipes to take home. Tasting will be provided each class.

  • 3 Class Session: Fridays, 3/29, 4/5, 4/12
  • Time: 6:00-9:00 PM
  • Location: YMCA Lodge/Kitchen
  • COST: $85 per person
  • Ages: 14 and above
  • Instructors: Jay Pelc and Jay Logsdon

Session 1: During this session, you will learn how to prepare basic pasta such as parpadelle and fettuccini. You will also learn how to make sauces from scratch such as alfredo and bolognese.

Session 2: In this session, you will learn how to prepare stuffed pastas like ravioli and agnolotti. Additionally, you will learn how to make sauces from scratch using brown butter and sage.

Session 3: This session will focus on teaching you how to prepare gnocchi with braised beef ragu, arugula and walnut pesto.

All recipes used during class and to take home will contain gluten/nuts/meat/dairy. When registering, please let us know if you have any allergies so we can accommodate them if necessary.
