Camp Algonquin is located on the shores of Lake Algonquin – a private lake, just 5 miles from Hastings, MI. Many have been described camp as a “Northern Michigan” retreat site nestled within 30 miles each of Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Lansing.  In addition to the six acre mainland, we own 35 acres of woodland adjacent to the camp for mountain biking and hiking as well as being one of Michigan’s only camps that owns an island that is used for special activities and exploring.

From Hastings (Downtown Area)

  • Head north on N Broadway St, .3 mi
  • Turn left onto W State Rd, 1.3 mi
  • Turn right onto Hammond Rd, 1 mi
  • Turn left onto Iroquois Trail, 1 mile
  • Follow around Algonquin Lake, YMCA on your left

From Middleville (from traffic light)

  • Head east on Main Street, 1.8 mi
  • Continue on State Road, 6.1 mi
  • Turn left onto Iroquois Trail, 1.2 mi
  • Follow around Algonquin Lake, YMCA on your right
